Construction Manager - C.A.T. Group - Lebanon

- Provide technical and managerial directions to project team members, as directed by the project manager
- Review the performance of project team members and report the same to the project manager
- Handle all types of Operations and Site Construction
- Ensure that Safety Rules and Regulations are implemented in coordination with the Safety Manager
- Meet all set deadlines while ensuring that the productivity targets are also met along with quality and safety.
- Review construction drawings form a constructability point of view
- Review, approve and submit of methods of statements for various tasks.
- Ensure quality and safety control during the construction process.
- Ensure strict compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
- Ensure Proper implementation of schedules.
- Coordinate work amongst various disciplines.
- Ensure that construction crews are always supplied with enough information, drawings, sketches, materials and consumables to meet and improve target dates.
- Implement safety plan and ensure highest level of safety to client’s requirements.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC Engineer/Manager and ensure proper implementation of the QA/QC plan.
- Ensure efficiency and proper productivity of the working crews.
- Ensure implementation of stores logistics, coordination of project materials, transport…etc.
- Implement the contractual scope of work and ensure implementation of the change orders system with client.
- Ensure smooth interfacing with contractors and subcontractors on the job.
- Any other duty/task as assigned/requested by the project manager.

Skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mech. / Civil) from a reputable University. Masters Deg
- Good organizational capability.
- Good communication skills, oral and written in order to tackle changes in various capacities.
- Good leadership qualities.
- Must be creative & highly innovative.
- Should be willing to work over time if ever the need to do so arises.
- Good personality and able to be a part of a team, and at the same time supervise a team of Engineers and superintendents
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in a desert climate and remote areas.

- Plan and oversee the expansion of the company's clients in new markets
- Targeted market research and generating new client contacts
