- Provide creative, innovative and professional interior design solutions to meet a project's functional and aesthetical requirements through a balance of creative flair and technical knowledge
- Present and defend your work internally and to the agency clients with strong and precise oral & visual skills using appropriate methods & tools (pictures, sketches, 3D renderings, technical drawings, etc.)
- Develop all stages of an interior design project:
- Research – Prepare market research and select relevant benchmarks according to the project's brief and requirements
- Design Concept – Create original and inspiring concepts
- Design Development – Elaborate design concept to a detailed interior solution
- Execution Drawings – Finalize all the execution drawings required for the production (plans, elevations, sections, RCP, furniture details, mechanical, etc.)
- Material Specifications – Define and prepare the selected materials for the project.
- BOQ – List all bills of quantities to prepare tender to the contractors
- Site Supervision – Make regular site visit and communication with the main contractor to guarantee the right execution of the design.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master in Interior Design
- Experienced in retail and hospitality interior design (Minimum 3 years)
- Proficient in the usage of architecture & design software (Auto CAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D, 3Dsmax, Sketch up, Photoshop) and computer skills (Mac and/or Windows)
- Convey an idea with a quick hand sketch
- Comfortable in communicating and presenting his work with a sophisticated and contemporary design language
- Bilingual in Arabic & English, good knowledge of French is a plus
- Result orientated and motivated
- Able to manage time and conflicting priorities.
- Work productively with others as a team as well as independently.
- Flexible to meet deadlines with the schedule and hours dictated by business needs.
- Ready to meet assigned goals, missions and objectives.
