theOtherDada is seeking a highly motivated Architect with 3-5 years of experience in environmentally sustainable design. The candidate should be based in Lebanon or have a valid work permit. The candidate must have initiative and a strong sense of responsibility, capable of the following job description:
- Proven experience in designing environmentally sustainable projects
- An interest in Deep Sustainability and environmentally sensitive design
- Knowledge of the Living Building Challenge is a plus
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2d and 3d) and 3d Rendering (on 3d max, Rhino or other software)
- Proficiency in Performance modeling software (Ecotect, IES, Design Builder…)
- Good model making skills
- Experience in All Design Phases (concept, design development, site supervision and coordination, etc.)
- Project Planning and Scheduling (timeline, submittals, list of drawings, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (excellent team player, project correspondence, etc.)
- Coordination with Other Consultants (mechanical and structural engineers, lighting designers, Landscape Architects etc.)
- Organization Skills
- Passion for research (sustainability, materials, technology, etc.)
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- An activist mentality and passion for the arts is a plus
